This weekly series spotlights venues that can accommodate groups large or small for private and corporate events, conferences, meetings, weddings, business dinners, teambuilding activities, cocktail parties, and more.LUCKY STRIKE is a food service facility inspected by New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH). There’s a couple logistical hurdles to figure out before we ring the starting bell, but it’s something we’re actively pursuing and should hopefully be done in the very near future. We’ll still have bowling on those nights, but there’ll be this whole new dimension of entertainment where people can come out, have a couple drinks, and watch some legitimate, old-school boxing with their friends. Our dream is to have a regular boxing series (ring and all) right in the middle of our venue. If you could throw one dream event, what would it be? They said it was the best “family dinner” they’d ever had. The event was a hit with over 150 players, coaches, and family all celebrating the night together. We did a total remodel of the entire venue (including Thanksgiving style decorations), and set them up with bowling, ping pong, billiards, and our huge TVs for the whole night. It’s never fun being away from family on holidays – and they were pretty far from home – so we were determined to make them feel right at home with a real Thanksgiving family-style dinner. What is the most memorable thing you’ve seen an event do with your space?Ī little while ago, we were lucky enough to have the Duke Basketball team out for Thanksgiving. Lucky Strike is its own scene unlike any other, and a lot of people come to experience just that. For large events, we can even work hand in hand with the planner and our executive chefs to create custom menus that suit their theme.
Lucky Strike is all about the immersive experience, which means hand crafted cocktails from expert mixologists, the best local music, amazing service from friendly staff, our award-winning restaurant, the whole gamut.
Some people brand us as a bowling alley, but we’re so much more than that. What is one thing you wish more event planners knew about your space? Website: do you think would surprise most planners to know about your space?Įven though we’ve worked hard to create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere in our venue, we’re actually completely customizable and can accommodate almost any request.
